Serving with our Session

The Session at FPC is a uniquely gifted group.  Our proximity to state government provides us with ample professionals who can share their experience by leading our congregation.  Among our many fine session members, we have a former State Budget Director and a recently-retired Deputy Director of Finance on the Stewardship Committee; there is an Assistant Attorney General moderating the Worship Committee; another session member argued a case before the US Supreme Court—and lost!  We also have several educators, including a recent Teacher of the Year award winner.  

All of our session members enjoy being “regular people” who also enjoy serving their church.  They are highly-talented individuals who work best with a leader who understands and empowers as well as leads.  This session appreciates being challenged to greater heights—and sometimes even surprises itself!
