Deacon Ministries
Our Deacons provide a number of ministries to members of the church family.
Bus Ministry
Our Deacons provide rides to Sunday School and Worship for those who are unable to drive. Those needing a ride contact the Church Office or one of our Deacons and arrangements are made so that they can join other in the worship of God.
Friends of the Carpenter
Friends of the Carpenter are Deacons and others in our congregation who have skills in repair and construction and are willing to help members with home repair and maintenance projects such as repairing doors, windows or decks, winterizing, or assisting with other minor repairs. Volunteers are needed for this ministry. If you need assistance or would like to volunteer to help, Pastor Dave 636-2149).
Lifeliners
Lifeliners visit with our members who are homebound or are living in nursing homes or assisted living facilities. They also send cards, and deliver seasonal gifts- many made by the children of our church.
Sunday Flower Delivery
Our Deacons deliver flowers to members who are in the hospital, homebound or living in nursing homes or assisted living facilities. Our Deacons deliver flowers from the arrangements used in morning worship, a Sunday morning worship bulletin, and a word of encouragement and care from our congregation.
