Children's Sunday School

Sunday School

Sunday School class for children at First Presbyterian ChurchThe children from preschool to fifth grade use the same study series and have the same Bible stories each week. This makes it easy for parents to discuss the Sunday School time with their children.  The lesson topic and scripture is printed in the Sunday bulletin as an added aid for parents.

The Preschool Class (Ages 3-5) meets in the blue "Puzzle Room" in the preschool area downstairs from the sanctuary with teacher Susan Sanker. These children have some play time as the teachers visit with them and then do fun activities involving the lesson.

Kindergarten - Second Grade (Ages 5-7)  meet in the green “Dove” room (upstairs outer wall) with teacher Shannon Evans. The children build special relationships as they work on their lessons, munch on a snack and enjoy fellowship time.

Third - Fifth Grader (Ages 8-10) meet in the yellow "Fish" room (upstairs inner wall) with Michelle Jansen as their teacher. They enjoy lessons, creative art projects, fellowship and movement.
