Zac Wolfe

Associate Pastor

Hey,what’s up?  I’m Rev. Zac Wolfe and I am the Associate Pastor of Youth and Contemporary.  I have been Associate Pastor at First Presbyterian JC since December 2012.  Before moving to JC, I lived in Omaha, NE but was born and raised in Lincoln, NE; aka Husker Country…Go Big Red!  I received my call to ministry when I was sophomore in high school in the back balcony of my church one Sunday morning  (maybe sitting in the back does bring you closer to God?) and I am an Eagle Scout.  I graduated with a BA from Doane College (Crete, NE) in 2008 (Religious Studies and Philosophy double major with a Psychology Minor) and with my MDiv from Columbia Theological Seminary (Decatur, GA) in 2011.  I also completed a one year CPE Chaplain Residency with Alegent and Creighton Health System in Omaha, NE in August 2012.  I met my beautiful wife, Rudi Wolfe, at Doane College and we were married in June, 2011.  I am passionate about my faith, my marriage and family, my ministry (especially with youth and worship…crazy how God makes everything workout), sports, staying active, camping and the Huskers (good thing NE and MO isn’t in the same conference anymore)!  My wife would describe me as a big kid who likes to have fun…and I can’t argue with her about that!
